We had a great time in York where we visited the York Minster and learned all about it’s amazing history. We couldn’t believe how many beautiful windows there were and how long they take to be cleaned. The theatre workshop was great fun and the children split into groups and took turns to act out different parts of Macbeth. We definitely have have some future actors and actresses in year 6! How can we forget the Viking poo! For some this was the most interesting but also the most disgusting thing they’d seen. Add in a very spooky ghost walk and a visit to the cinema where we rocked the aisles singing along to all of the Mamma Mia songs and it was a very enjoyable and memorable trip.
