Welcome to our class page

About the class teacher

Hello and welcome to our Year 6 web page. We have really enjoyed welcoming you back to school after such a long break and are so impressed by your efforts so far. We can already tell that you are going to make a fantastic group of Year Six and we are really going to enjoy teaching you this year.

PE day

Our P.E slot is on a Monday afternoon so please remember to come to school dressed in your full P.E kit and black trainers. We will try to go outside if possible so make sure that you come dressed appropriately (school hoodies and navy tracksuit bottoms) as we head towards the colder weather.

Expectations for reading at home

Reading at home is part of our homework in year six and we expect children to spend at least twenty minutes reading independently a minimum of 3 times per week.  In order to achieve a reading reward owl they need to have their diary signed by an adult at home 25x for bronze, 30x for silver and 35x for gold.

Reading homework is also sent home on a Monday after our reading lesson in school, to be returned on Wednesday.
