We have a construction area in our classroom that is stocked with everyday resources such as cardboard boxes, tubes and fabric which the children really enjoy playing in. Children have already created all sorts of amazing things such as robots, rockets and aeroplanes!

The construction zone enables the children to play and explore their own ideas and creativity. Creativity is not just about painting and music, it is about thinking imaginatively, being resourceful and seeing potential for imaginative play in everyday objects.

In order to keep the construction area going I would really appreciate it if you could donate any used cardboard boxes (especially cereal and tin foil/baking paper boxes), kitchen roll tubes, or bottle tops.

I understand that children are already carrying a lot into school some mornings but if you could spare even just one box a week it would be greatly appreciated by the children!

Please send them into school with your child and children will receive a dojo for every donation they bring in to school!

Thank you in advance for your continued support!
