Year 5/6 trip
Year 5 and 6 visited the Princes’ Street Synagogue in Liverpool where they learned about the Jewish faith and the traditions that must be observed. The inside of the Synagogue was absolutely beautiful and took the children’s breath away when the doors were opened. As a sign of respect the boys had to wear a Kippah whilst they were inside.
The children were given a guided tour of the Liverpool Cathedral where they learned about the Catholic faith and they were told some of the stories from the bible and shown how and where they were represented within the Cathedral.
