Moorfield v Our Lady’s Primary School 3-3

Moorfield Park hosted an intense match again OLPS. After going behind in the game early doors, Moorfield knew that they needed to pull together if they were to get anything out of this match. Slowly momentum was changing and Moorfield started to get a hold of the game. With wonder strikes from Liam Hayes and Nathan Percival, Moorfield looked like they were in control of the game. OLPS had other ideas and grabbed an equaliser with a fantastic solo effort.

In the second half Moorfield continued to probe and cause problems for the OLPS defence and eventually regained the lead. Unfortunately, celebrations were cut short and OLPS grabbed another equaliser with the very last kick of the game (Mr Lynch was devastated).

Man of the match went to Connor Simons due to his bravery and ability to shut down the opposition’s best player.
